Golden Bridge & Ba Na Hills in Da Nang

The Golden Bridge — a ribbon of gold held up by two colossal weathered stone hands — became one of Asia's most photographed structures almost overnight, and it sits high above Da Nang in the Ba Na Hills resort. Getting there is half the show: one of the world's longest single-track cable cars climbs through jungle and cloud to a mountain top that is often 8–10°C cooler than the beach below.
The Experience
Up top, the Golden Bridge feeds into flower gardens, the replica French Village with its cathedral square, Fantasy Park's indoor rides, and the Alpine Coaster that hurtles down the hillside. Go on a clear morning — the bridge faces the sunrise side, the crowds build fast after 9am, and afternoon cloud can swallow the view entirely.
Know Before You Go
Buy the cable-car ticket as a combo (it covers most attractions), allow at least half a day, and bring a light layer for the summit chill. The site is about 45 minutes west of the city; Grab cars, shared shuttles and hotel tours all run the route from early morning.
