The Most Luxurious Hotels in Philippines
Two shortlists — the capital, and the private islands of Palawan.
The Philippines is a collection of two halves. Manila is a business city with good hotels and a short shortlist; Palawan is where the country keeps its extraordinary stays, including a private island with its own airstrip that sits on the Luxe List.
Almost everything worth flying for is offshore, which makes timing and logistics matter more here than anywhere else in the collection. The dry season runs roughly November to May; the resorts of Palawan are reached by a flight from Manila or Cebu and then a boat.

Rates are indicative low-season from-prices for the cheapest room a hotel normally sells, and they move a long way with the season and the calendar. Treat them as a way of ranking the shortlists against one another rather than as a quote. Every hotel on these pages was cross-checked against live listings; none of it is a paid placement, and PacificAir takes no commission on a booking.
